What we do

A price on paper before any work starts. Here is the usual list.

Typical jobs: door and trim repair, drywall patches, rot repair.

  • Custom carpentry

Built-ins, shelving, mantels and trim cut to fit your house, not a catalog.

Typical jobs: bookcases, window seats, mantels, crown and base trim.

  • Decks, porches and railings

New builds, rebuilds and the safety fixes an inspector would flag.

Typical jobs: deck repairs, new stairs, porch rebuilds, railings.

  • Doors and windows

Hung plumb, sealed tight and trimmed out neatly.

Typical jobs: entry doors, storm doors, window replacement and trim.

Clean cut lines, smooth walls and no dust left behind.

How a job goes

  1. You call or send a request

Tell us what is wrong. Photos help: text them to the same number.

  2. We look and write it up

A free visit, then a written price. Nothing gets added later without your say-so.

  3. We do the work

Same crew, on the day we said, cleaning up as we go.

  4. We walk it with you

We check everything together before you pay the final invoice.

Questions people ask

Do you charge for estimates?

No. We look at the job, then give you a written price. You decide, with no pressure.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Our license number is 000000, and we can send a certificate of insurance on request.

How soon can you start?

Small jobs usually start within two weeks. For bigger projects we set the schedule at the estimate.

Do you pull permits?

When the job needs one, yes. We handle the paperwork with your town.

Do you do electrical or plumbing?

No. Those need a licensed specialist. We will point you to someone we trust.

How do I pay?

Check, card or bank transfer. Bigger jobs have a deposit up front and the balance when we finish.
